Licensing Industry Charity hopes to raise much-needed funds through silent auction and prize draw.
A lack of industry events throughout 2020, has meant that the licensing industry’s charity – The Light Fund – has missed vital opportunities to raise funds for the various good causes it supports each year.
To bring a little Christmas cheer, and support those who need help more than ever this year, The Light Fund has launched a silent auction and prize draw, offering some incredible prizes.
You can view the prizes and auction lots, make your bids, and buy tickets over on the website – www.givergy.uk/TheLightFund. The array of prizes have been donated from across the licensing industry and you can bid in the auction for prizes such as Sooty and Richard Cadell hosting a birthday party for a lucky child and five friends, or for author Jonny Duddle to zoom into a classroom to host a Gigantosaurus live drawing and reading event.
And as and when real life events return, there are some incredible lots available including a week’s holiday in Cornwall, a trip for two people to the MTV European music awards (including the after-show party), and a pair of tickets to watch the Lions VS Japan at Murrayfield.
Raffle tickets are just £10 each and there are more incredible prizes including a £500.00 online shopping voucher with the Entertainer/Early Learning Centre or for the grown-ups, a £500.00 voucher for Selfridges.
Since launching, the total donations are going well, but with the support of the industry and their family and friends, the organisation is looking to raise a lot more, so please do bid away and share with family and friends who may like to be in with a chance of winning. Bids for the auction close on December 17, 2020, and the raffle will be drawn on the same day.
Anyone who has items they would like to donate as prizes should please contact Anne Bradford AnneB@poeticbrands.com or 07788 585343. New lots and prizes would be very welcome and there is still plenty of time to add them.
