Thinking of You Week 2021 will be celebrated across the UK on September 20 to 26 this year, with many GCA members sharing their plans to mark the event.

Royal Mail, Clintons, Cardzone and major retailers such as Sainsburys, Asda and B&M are just some of the retailers planning activity to encourage customers to buy a card and send it to a loved one.

The GCA have two initiatives for retailers and those in the greeting card industry to use to spread the message. Shmuncki Verse, wrote a poem specially for Thinking of You Week 2021, reminding us all of the importance of connecting through cards. And Lanther Black are producing a short film for the GCA which will be shared on social media soon.

The event is now also held in the US and Australia, with both adopting Paper Salad’s specially designed livery.

Publishers and retailers are encouraged to get involved with plenty of tips and ideas on the Thinking Of You Week website. POS and promotional material is also available on the Thinking of You Week Toolkit.
