Card creator Leaving Card has launched a new ‘Thank You Teacher’ range of collaboratively signed cards, enabling groups of parents and children to all sign one card for their favourite teacher
Ready just in time for the end of term, Leaving Card’s ‘Thank You Teacher’ cards offer a range of cards that can be signed by up to 200 people and delivered to the teacher as a printed or digital card. Born in the pandemic from the need for distanced colleagues to still co-sign cards, Leaving Card developed a simple, online, card-signing solution.
Founder Sujay Jayaram said: “We saw how important it was for people to still be connected during that difficult time. What we didn’t anticipate was how our cards would continue to be so popular. We started out with our leaving cards, which soon grew to include retirement, congratulations, maternity, and thank you cards.’’
Leaving Card uses a link to sign the cards digitally, which can be easily shared via email, WhatsApp, text, and other messaging apps for quick and simple discrete access, saving the surprise of a card from being accidentally spoiled. Once a card is signed and completed online, people then have the option to choose from a printed card to arrive or an ecard to be digitally sent as a more environmentally friendly alternative.
