On International Women’s Day, congratulations to Greeting Card Association CEO Amanda Fergusson, and Giftware Association chief executive Sarah Ward, who have been included in the inaugural Women in Trade Association Powerlist, which launched today.
Amanda (pictured) told Greetings Today: “I’m very honoured, and hopefully this will also help to further raise the GCA/card industry profile.’’
Sarah said: “I am so honoured to have made this list and be celebrated in this way. There are so many other powerful women here too, so I am privileged to share this achievement with them and for the power of our industry.”
The Powerlist is a collaboration between FSB, CBI and the Trade Association Forum to celebrate and recognise inspirational women in the Association sector.
The list was compiled from more than 200 public nominations, and a selection panel from the Trade Association Forum. The CBI and FSB had the unenviable task of selecting the 100 women that make up the inaugural list.
