Danilo is commemorating its 45th anniversary in true rock ‘n’ roll style with a very special competition.
The publisher of calendars, diaries, and greeting cards has teamed up with Authentic Brands Group to offer one rock ‘n’ roll fan a chance to win a trip for two to Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee – the home of American singer and actor Elvis Presley, known as ‘The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ – in a prize draw.
The fantastic prize bundle includes a two-night stay at The Guest House (a resort hotel in the heart of Graceland), Elvis Entourage VIP tickets, a £500 travel voucher, as well as lunch at Elvis Presley’s Memphis restaurant and dinner at Delta’s Kitchen.
The contest is open until October 31. Then the name of the winner will be drawn, and the lucky customer will be contacted in the first week of November to be told the good news!
“DANILO HAS A VERY SPECIAL STORY ABOUT HOW THE COMPAY STARTED, AND IT’S ONE WE LOVE TO SHARE. IT’S STILL INCREDIBLE TO THINK HOW 45 YEARS AGO, LAURENCE PRINCE, CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER OF DANILO, FLEW TO L.A. TO MEET WITH [ELVIS PRESLEY’S MANAGER] COLONEL PARKER WITH THE IDEA FOR THE FIRST CELEBRITY CALENDAR FOR ELVIS PRESLEY, AND IT HAS ALL GROWN FROM THERE”

Danilo marketing manager Claire Bates said: “Danilo has a very special story about how the company started, and it’s one we love to share. It’s still incredible to think how 45 years ago, Laurence Prince, chairman and founder of Danilo, flew to L.A. to meet with [Elvis Presley’s manager] Colonel Parker with the idea for the first celebrity calendar for Elvis Presley, and it has all grown from there.
“Danilo has gone from strength to strength over the years, and we are so excited to be able to celebrate our 45th anniversary! To mark the occasion, we really wanted to highlight to our customers where it all began, and what better way than with an amazing trip for two to Elvis’ home in Memphis. We feel confident the prize draw will receive a large number of entrants, and look forward to being able to gift one fortunate fan a trip of a lifetime.”
