Autumn Fair has unveiled the full programme for its new Counter Talks Stage, bringing four days of free talks, workshops, live conversations and practical advice to the NEC Birmingham from 6–9th September
The programme brings together experts from across retail, buying, technology, social media, visual merchandising, licensing, business strategy and consumer trends, with names including Buy Women Built, Google, Faire, Retail Huddle, BIRA, George at ASDA and Jeff Banks.
The agenda has been shaped around some of the key challenges and opportunities facing retailers, including changing consumer behaviour, retail crime, margin pressure, digital engagement and the growing importance of experience, storytelling and community.
Sessions include Gift Of The Year: Discover the Award-Winning Products Shaping Retail, while a dedicated retail crime session will feature Lisa Maslen, Superintendent at City of London Police, Andrew Goodacre, CEO of BIRA, and Jackson Szabo of Hyve Group.
Digital growth is also high on the agenda, with Shopify agency Squashed Pixel co-founder Tom Gatenby joining Matthew Mein, Event Director of Autumn Fair, for a fireside chat on attracting customers and strengthening online growth.
Google will return with sessions including Practical AI for Your Business, Build Your Business Online with Google and a Social Media Masterclass exploring how AI can help retailers identify trends, develop strategies and create content more efficiently.
