The traditional Sunday Sundowners drinks at Harrogate Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival were relocated to the Majestic Hotel on Sunday (July 20), where the coveted Giftware Association’s People’s Choice Award was announced
Chi Cups was crowned this year’s winner, taking an astonishing share of the votes.
Victoria Louise of the Giftware Association, who presented the award, told Greetings Today: “Chi Cups took the voting by storm. We received more than 14,000 votes, a record-breaking figure, so there was real passion behind this year’s awards. Out of the 340 brands that entered, Chi Cups received 20% of the total votes. It’s an incredible achievement, congratulations to David and the Chi Cup team.”
“We are incredibly proud of Chi Cups, and the passion they’ve shown throughout each stage of the awards has been great to see,” said Chris Workman, marketing and PR manager of the Giftware Association, which runs the Gift of the Year Awards. “Their win is a testament to the power of their community and the power of knowing your audience.”
The People’s Choice Champion title is awarded to the participant who garners the most public votes, and anyone who made it through to the shortlist stage of the awards is eligible to be crowned. Chi Cups did just that – drumming up impressive support that carried them to victory.
