Remember that it’s Festive Friday on November 28
Festive Friday is the day when everyone in the greeting card industry, along with card lovers everywhere, send their Christmas cards.
The idea behind the campaign is that receiving Christmas cards reminds people to send theirs; so Festive Friday kicks off the annual exchange of cards for the festive season.
The GCA (Greeting Card Association) is leading the charge, and encouraging everyone to write cards in November, and post them second class, as well as supporting their local community by donating cards to care homes.
The branding for this year’s Festive Friday was created by Wendy Jones-Blackett, a GCA Council Member.
To get involved you could organise a Festive Friday or #Cardmitment event at your workplace, school, charity, or community group
Or host a card-writing session – provide cards and postage, and get them posted the same day.
The GCA toolkit for Festive Friday includes banners, posters, leaflets and social media logos.
