So many of this year’s finalists got in touch with Greetings Today to share their excitement in making the shortlist for the Retas Awards!
Sally Swift (pictured above, far right, with her team) owns Cards & Moor in Yelverton, Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
She told us: “I was walking home when the email came in confirming the Retas finalists. I took a deep breath before opening it, telling myself three years in a row to reach the finals would be unbelievable, and I was absolutely over the moon to see us listed. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
”As many of our customers say, ‘this is the best card shop I’ve ever visited, you have such an amazing range of cards’. The main idea of opening the shop was to give the Yelverton residents somewhere they could find the perfect card without having to wander from shop to shop, and we now have customers from much further afield coming in on a regular basis to stock up on their cards too.
”Over the two and a half years we have been open, we have stocked cards from more than 70 different card companies and I am always on the lookout for more new designs to keep our customers smiling.”
