The GCA and other members of the Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC) are gathering data on high street business performance throughout the year, in a bid to better represent the retail industry
In this quarter’s survey, they are asking retailers how the second quarter of 2025 compared to the previous quarter and the same period in 2024. They are also keen to understand confidence levels for the rest of the year.
Additionally, as we move into the second half of the year and towards the annual Autumn Statement, they would like to gauge where retailers need Government to place its priorities.
The survey is brief and the data will be used to shape the discussions the GCA has with government representatives, and other industry stakeholders, and help to form future representation of the independent retail sector.
