Emma Lawrence Designs

The Licensing Lab at Spring Fair is the ideal place for Emma Lawrence Designs, not only to exhibit, but to announce several new exciting collaborations

The Licensing Lab in Hall 4 aims to bring together retailers, licensees, manufacturers and creatives to celebrate, share and educate others about what they can offer.

As well as giving a talk on the Licensing Lab stage – Stand out with ease: elevate your product range with designers – Emma will be exhibiting with a vast portfolio of assets and examples of licensed ranges. Many of her licensees are exhibiting at the show and will unveil Emma’s heart-warming drawings on their new ranges.

Following a meeting at Brand Licensing Europe, the Fair to Trade team fell in love with Emma’s Christmas designs featuring woodland wildlife and popular cats, dogs, Highland cows, sheep and farm vehicles. The partnership allows them to offer the distinctive and fresh illustrations on a range of cards and gift bags alongside interpretations of the designs on hand-painted baubles. All the products have been handcrafted by artisans in Nepal from recycled cotton rags and waste, which is perfect for the nature-loving ethos behind the Emma Lawrence Designs brand.

Another new licensing partner is jigsaw manufacturer House of Puzzles. Sam Ireland, operations director, commented, “Emma’s beautiful map illustration is full of detail and perfectly encapsulates the charm and diversity of life in and around the British Isles. Initially available as a 1,000-piece jigsaw, the team are looking forward to bringing this title to market where it will undoubtedly prove to be a popular addition to the range.”

Location-based themes can also be seen across a wide variety of delicious confectionery gifts produced by Farrah’s of Harrogate, which Emma met at last year’s show. Due to the popularity of the first range, which was launched last year, the company will be showcasing new Christmas and Everyday ranges as well as a new Thank You range. In addition, non-food related gifts featuring eye-catching gardening, farm and nostalgia designs have been added. Perfect for garden centres, tourist attractions and farm shops.

The Wheat Bag Company is launching a collection of exclusive new designs created by Emma. They feature dogs, cats, gardening, animals, sports, nautical and floral images. MD Sally Moore said: “I am really excited about the new collection with many stunning designs created just for us.”

And for the younger audience, first-time exhibitors, Gardening for Kids, has further extended Emma’s Little Nature Explorers brand, with new tool kits and super-cute watering cans.

Meet Emma on her stand in Hall 4 A80, or listen to her talk on the Licensing Lab Stage on Monday February 2 at 2.15pm.
