Art licensing and design studio The London Studio has licensed a range of artist and illustrator Emma Randall’s newly released designs from her Pear Tree Press brand to Calypso Cards: an independent US-based publisher and distributor of premium greeting cards
Emma is a member of The London Studio’s Artists Collective community that brings together, promotes and collaborates with more than 100 of the world’s most exciting independent artists.
The agreement will see a selection of original Pear Tree Press designs published and sold exclusively by Calypso Cards in the US from January 2026, as well in Canada through Paper E Clips: Calypso Cards’ distribution partner. The London Studio is now in discussions with Calypso Cards about future launches.
Emma illustrates each design by hand, choosing bright colour palettes and using eye-catching intricate patterns and hand-drawn typography, drawing on her years of children’s book character work to produce highly distinctive art that is very much her own.
Her work, which can be seen on cards, prints, and other illustrated paper goods, is now also stocked in a number of independent shops across the UK. She said: “I was delighted to meet the lovely team at Calypso Cards. It’s a company that continues to innovate in the greetings card industry and is an ideal partner for our first foray into the US market. I’m excited to see Pear Tree Press cards launch in the USA and Canada soon!”
