The team at Out of the Blue Studios is hoping its Christmas 2026 range will raise awareness for a special charity that helps seriously ill children and young people
The publisher has partnered with the charity Spread a Smile, which ”brings joy and laughter to seriously ill children and young people across the country’’.
Through in-person hospital visits, virtual sessions and family events, Spread a Smile’s entertainers – from magicians to musicians, artists, fairies and therapy dogs – enhance wellbeing and help young patients and their families cope with the pain and anxiety of serious illness and hospitalisation.
For 2026, Out of the Blue Studios has carefully chosen this charity partner to enhance its Christmas range and has made a minimum donation of £10,000.
All of the 2026 product range will feature the ‘Spread A Smile’ charity message and donation details.
Sales director/owner Pete Rawlingson said: ”We hope that you will support us in exposing the charity and the fantastic work it does to a wider audience through trading our Christmas Counter, Boxed, Gift Bags and Money Wallets.’’
In 2025-26, Spread a Smile will deliver more than 18,411 in-person hospital bedside visits and more than 2,860 virtual visits, in partnership with 39 NHS hospitals and six hospice partners.
It provides vital opportunities for distraction, meaningful engagement and the chance for seriously ill children going through the most challenging times to enjoy being a child again.
