Wrendale Designs Chester Plush

Wrendale Designs’ rewilding project, Wild Wrendale, is a true labour of love, bringing founder Hannah Dale and her husband and Wrendale MD Jack’s passion for nature and wildlife to life

Just a year ago, they introduced two beavers onto their farm – the first in Lincolnshire in over 400 years! Now, they’re celebrating a special milestone: welcoming their very first beaver kit. Perfect timing for the launch of the new beaver plush Chester, inspired by the first beaver pair’s arrival.

Chester not only captures the beaver’s charm but also helps raise awareness of their ongoing conservation efforts. Customers can read more about the rewilding project in Hannah’s latest book A Wilding Year, launched earlier this year. The book takes readers on a seasonal journey around the farm – part journal, part sketchbook.

After a successful reveal of giant plush Chester at Spring Fair earlier this year, and many customers requesting to home Chester temporarily for a short time in their store to promote the plush collection, Wrendale ran a competition where stockists could put forward their pitch to host him. After lots of planning, customers can visit Chester at the following locations:

July 21 – August 29, Northumberland Zoo; September 1 – October 3, Dyfi Wildlife Centre, Wales; October 6 – November 26, One More Bear, Stoke on Trent; November 27 – January 2, 2026, The Bay Tree Company, Edinburgh; January 5 2026 – February 27 2026, Maybugs, Eastbourne & Bexhill; March 2 2026 – April 3 2026, Groves Nurseries, Dorset.
