ZSL (Zoological Society of London) has announced a series of new licensing partnerships, including with greeting card publisher Woodmansterne, to develop official London Zoo and ZSL product ranges launching throughout 2026 to coincide with ZSL’s 200th anniversary

Other partners include Bigjigs Toys, EDX Education, Make Believe Ideas, Willsow, and Loungers.

The new partnerships form part of a wider licensing programme celebrating two centuries of conservation, science, education, and connecting people to nature, with each partner bringing their expertise and a strong educational focus to the London Zoo and ZSL brands.

Woodmansterne is creating a greeting card collection using historical images from ZSL’s library archive.

Make Believe Ideas will create a collection of plush toys, plush accessories, stationery and books, bringing London Zoo’s animals to life through playful, accessible designs for younger audiences.

Willsow has developed a paper made of ‘poo’ from the charity’s London and Whipsnade Zoos, which will be used to create a children’s book and puzzle.

The collections launched at London Toy Fair and Spring Fair and will be rolling out throughout 2026.

Abbie Taylor, brand licensing manager, London Zoo, said: “As we celebrate our 200th anniversary throughout 2026, these new partnerships and products are a wonderful way to bring people closer to nature. By working with partners who share our values around education, quality and sustainability, we can inspire curiosity about wildlife, connect more people with the natural world, and generate meaningful support for conservation in the UK and across the globe.”

The London Zoo and ZSL licensing programmes are managed by Metrostar, which continues to expand the brand’s presence across carefully selected partners and categories that support ZSL’s charitable mission.
