Antalis has acquired the assets and trade of Ovenden Papers from its administrators, bringing the long-established paper merchant into the Antalis UK & Ireland network
The acquisition, completed on 18 September, includes Ovenden Papers’ customer relationships, employees, premises and relevant operational assets. The business will continue to operate under the Ovenden family name, supported by Antalis.
Antalis said its immediate priority is to maintain continuity of supply and service while it reviews the business and its future development.
Nick Thompson, Regional Managing Director, Antalis UKI, said the acquisition provides an opportunity to combine Ovenden Papers’ market knowledge and customer relationships with Antalis’ wider product portfolio, distribution network and resources.
