Four British brands have won a fully funded opportunity to exhibit at SHOPPE OBJECT New York through The Gift Edit: UK initiative, delivered by the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF) and The Home & Gift Association.
Skyline Chess Ltd, CAHM, Paper Mirchi and Wrap were selected following a competitive judging process and will exhibit within The Gift Edit: UK Showcase during the influential North American home, gift and lifestyle trade show from 2–4 August.
The initiative aims to support ambitious British businesses by removing barriers to exporting and providing direct access to international buyers, distributors and retailers.
Gemma Sault, managing director of The Home & Gift Association, said the programme helps emerging brands take the next step in their international growth, adding that this year’s winners demonstrated strong creativity, commercial potential and ambition.
BATF International will also support a wider group of British exhibitors attending SHOPPE OBJECT, helping brands build relationships and explore opportunities within the North American market.
Taran Sahota of BATF International said initiatives such as The Gift Edit provide businesses with the visibility, confidence and industry connections needed to expand internationally.
Following this year’s showcase, BATF International is already exploring further opportunities, including a future British showcase in Shanghai, as it continues to support UK brands looking to grow their global presence.
