Autumn Fair and Glee are expanding their retail services offering this September as retailers increasingly seek expertise, technology and operational support alongside new product ranges.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham, Autumn Fair (6–9 September) and Glee (8–10 September) will welcome more than 1,250 exhibitors, over 500,000 products and in excess of 20,000 retail buyers.

One of the fastest-growing areas across both events is dedicated to helping retailers improve business performance.

Known as Retail Solutions at Autumn Fair and Retail Experiences & Services at Glee, the sectors bring together specialists in AI, ecommerce, EPOS, payments, logistics, merchandising, workforce management, retail design and business consultancy.

Helping retailers with technology

Organisers say the growth reflects the continued shift towards destination retail, with businesses investing in technologies and services that improve customer experience, increase efficiency and drive profitability.

Garden centres are highlighted as a key example of this trend, with many evolving beyond traditional retail to include cafés, restaurants, food halls and leisure attractions that encourage longer visits and increased spending.

Matthew Mein, Event Director for Autumn Fair and Glee, said bringing the two exhibitions together creates an unrivalled opportunity for retailers to discover practical solutions that will help future-proof their businesses.

The events will showcase a broad range of suppliers and service providers, reflecting growing demand from retailers looking to strengthen operations while responding to changing consumer expectations.
