The Home & Gift Association has launched The Buyers Circle, a new free service designed to help retail buyers across the home, gift and stationery sectors source more efficiently, discover relevant suppliers and build valuable industry connections
Created in response to the increasing demands placed on today’s buyers, The Buyers Circle aims to remove the noise from the sourcing process by connecting buyers directly with relevant suppliers from the association’s trusted industry network.
Rather than adding to already crowded inboxes, the initiative takes a curated approach. Buyers simply share what they are looking for – from new product categories and licensing opportunities to seasonal launches and specific sourcing requirements – and The Buyers Circle does the legwork.
Importantly, buyers remain in control, with their contact details not shared and introductions only facilitated where there is a genuine buying need.
We help buyers connect with relevant suppliers quickly and efficiently, without endless searching, cold approaches or inbox overload. This isn’t about creating more noise. It’s about creating better connections, saving time and helping buyers discover products and suppliers that genuinely fit their business needs.

The service also offers access to market intelligence, emerging trends and industry insight, alongside tailored supplier recommendations and direct access to relevant products and brands.
A key feature is the bespoke Meet the Buyer opportunity, with sessions available online, at a buyer’s own premises or at the Home & Gift Association’s offices. Each session is tailored around the individual buyer’s requirements and is completely free of charge.
Gemma Sault, Managing Director of the Home & Gift Association, said: “We know that buyers are busier than ever. They’re constantly looking for new products, new suppliers and new opportunities, whilst balancing the demands of their day-to-day responsibilities. The Buyers Circle has been created to make that process easier.”
The Buyers Circle is open to retail buyers from independent retailers, multiples, garden centres, department stores, visitor attractions, museums, e-commerce businesses and buying groups.
The initiative is powered by the Home & Gift Association’s extensive industry network, with the association aiming to strengthen commercial relationships, improve buying outcomes and support growth across the sector.
The message is simple: less noise, better connections and smarter sourcing.
