Spiracle Audiobooks has launched a new collection of five illustrated choose any audiobook in a card designs, offering retailers a giftable alternative for Christmas, Secret Santa and stocking-filler sales
The concept combines the familiarity of a greeting cards with the experience of an audiobook. The recipient can choose from more than 20,000 audiobooks, making the cards suitable for a wide range of readers and listeners.
Illustrated by Mia Nilsson, the colourful A6 designs include Heaven Is Listening Together, Stirring the Plot, A Noise-Cancelling Adventure, No More Soggy Pages and Christmas Without Losing the Plot. Each card comes with a kraft envelope and space for a handwritten message.
Inside, a QR code and activation code allows the recipient to redeem their gift through Spiracle, create a free membership and choose an audiobook from a catalogue spanning fiction, thrillers, biography, history, classics and independent publishers. There is no subscription fee and the selected audiobook is theirs to keep.
The range has already been recognised in the Gift of the Year Awards 2026, where Audiobook in a Card was Highly Commended. It is currently stocked in more than 200 gift shops and bookshops across the UK.
For greeting card retailers, the cards offer an additional gifting opportunity, particularly for Christmas, while bringing an experience-led product to the card aisle.
