A new character brand is entering the children’s greeting card market with WILDSTARZ, a collection of colourful personalised birthday cards featuring an animal character for every age from one to nine
Created to make children’s birthdays more personal and playful, the collection features an original cast of animal characters including Leon Lion, Hugo Hippo, Tess Tigress, Reynbo Rhino, Cara Capybara and Pandora Panda.
Each card is designed around a specific birthday age, from one through to nine, combining bold, colourful artwork with personalisation to create a card aimed specifically at the birthday child. The collection gives retailers a character-led option for the children’s card category, with the potential for repeat purchases as children reach different ages.
I wanted to create something that went beyond simply adding a child’s name to a birthday card. WILDSTARZ is a whole family of characters that children can get to know, play with and hopefully grow to love. The greeting cards are their introduction to the WILDSTARZ world and we’re only just getting started.
